ABOUT US

The Guardian House offers a supportive way of living in an alcohol and drug free environment. As a self-run, single-family home, we offer a family-friendly home for women only, and allow children to stay for limited periods. The Guardian House is a safe place to live with others who are committed to being alcohol and drug-free, which is a key factor in maintaining recovery.

What are the benefits of living in Guardian Home? 

  • Receive 24-hour support from peers in recovery. 

  • Learn skills for living in recovery. 

  • Vote on all issues affecting the house. 

  • Receive guidelines and training to successfully maintain the house. 

  • Have opportunities to make new friends for enjoying healthy activities with.

 

What do my costs cover? 

  • Program includes a fully furnished home with a comfortable bed, closet space, and linens 

  • 24-hour outdoor surveillance

  • Free use of Wi-Fi, computers, printers, paper and internet

  • All utilities, cleaning supplies, and paper products included

 

How do I apply to live in the Guardian house? 

  1. Call, text, or email for availability @ (816) 806-7151 or myguardianhome@outlook.com

  2. You will be emailed an application form to complete, please return promptly. 

  3. If there is availability, we will call you to schedule an interview appointment. 

  4. Be on time for your interview! Arriving on time is a qualifying factor

  5. Be willing to do the work to live a happier, healthier life!
